Why do those of us who are nobodies tend to be brushed aside for someone famous at the drop of a hat? Nobodies have been tweeting, messaging, texting, blogging, emailing, and writing context for newspapers for many years. The information that is written is important. Important to all those who eat, live, and breath for their children. Important for serious consideration by pediatric staff, teaching staff, and most of all, parents.
Years ago, I expressed my undergraduate thoughts about how we needed to consider that from conception into birth, the exposure an infant receives, and who they interact with, is going to pre-determine the attitude a child will exhibit as they age. Continual exposure will create that child to be just like their peers. If there are homelife issues, these issues will reflect the children. No matter how much you try to hide it even. Children are receptive and smart and on purpose, expose themselves to the surroundings they see as home.
Do not take my calling myself a nobody as anything serious. The most serious thing my remark really reflects is that I should be glad that someone very famous has finally opened peoples eyes to what problem really lies ahead for children that are exposed to a negative aura during infancy. By educating parents, caregivers, and teachers on the consequences involved if a child had lived in an undesirable environment maybe we can help lessen the anger in some children or even avoid the aggression completely.
Imagine if we raised children that are more passive. The comfort of being relaxed would open a child's brain up. Making them want to learn more, or just even learn. We could finally have a world that was pro-active and worked together. And since I am a realist and know this is not ever going to be a 100% cure-all, I will still hope for a 20% change in the school systems. We just need to learn to communicate.
